My Every Day Original piece for September, a traditional 6 x 4" piece done in watercolour and a touch of gouache. Titled for the gorgeous way the metallic paints glitter under the right lights.

Emeralds for eyes
She is queen of this kingdom
Moon on the rise.

Patient as starlight,
'Neath the tree where she lies,
Fur, black as the shadows,
Glitters like midnight skies.'
