One For Sorrow

May's Every Day Original piece. This one is inspired by the old magpie superstition, where the number of magpies seen can mean things for your future:
One for sorrow
Two for joy
Three for a girl
Four for a boy
Five for silver
Six for gold
Seven for a secret, never to be told
It's a 6 x 4 painting, with both gold paint and touches of my favourite sparkly watercolours in the hair and magpie. Sold in the first hour or two of being up!
