Syra - Cyberpunk Character Design

Continuing the design for my Cyberpunk nightclub character. Putting the thumbnails out to public vote was an interesting experiment, and working up a design I definitely wouldn't have chosen myself has proven to be a fun challenge. I'm surprised E stood out so much and tells me that I don't necessarily have the same mass appeal taste in my own characters, ha. I see her as a young, enterprising upper-class business owner who's not averse to letting the odd deal with information or good slip under the table. Known as 'Mantis' among the city's underbelly.

I'll be working up a more moody piece with her whole hooded design next, show off a little surface material and the kind of environment she might be found in.
